One of the great things about taking lessons with with Paragliding SF is at we teach at lots of different flying sites in and around the San Francisco bay area. This allows our students to experience flying at a number of different sites and become more rounded pilots. The location for the first lesson will be selected the evening before based on weather. The first lesson will cover a basic weather and equipment overview and how to get connected to and kite a paraglider. After some kiting practice if you have sufficient control of the wing you’ll be able to take your first short flight or two.
What to bring:
Sturdy shoes preferably with ankle protection, long pants and a helmet if you have one. (If you don’t have your own helmet you are welcome to borrow one of ours.) Water, sunscreen and gloves are also a good idea. And finally please be well rested and hydrated!
