Niviuk Hiko Paraglider
The Hiko is Niviuk's bridge between the EN-A Hook and the mid-B Ikuma. Aimed at pilots who are ready to fly longer flights but still want generous safety margins, it brings advanced construction techniques into a low-B classification.
The Hiko uses Niviuk's C2B integrated riser system, Structured Leading Edge with Nitinol rods, 3D leading-edge panel control, RAM air intakes, and the Radial Sliced Diagonal internal structure. The result is a sail that holds its shape cleanly across the speed range, climbs efficiently in weak thermals, and accelerates with stability.
Brake pressure is light enough for hours of thermalling without fatigue, and the wing's response to weight-shift is direct without being twitchy. The Hiko is the right wing for the pilot who has just discovered cross-country and wants to commit to it.
The Pilot
The Hiko targets pilots in the 60–200 hour range who are ready for their first 50+ km flights and want a wing they can keep for several seasons.
