Niviuk Koyot 6 Paraglider
The Koyot 6 is Niviuk's entry-level wing for the school environment and the first season after certification. Built around an evenly inflating sail, a sit-overhead launch character, and a high tolerance for pilot input errors, it is designed to make every flight a confidence-building one.
Compared to its predecessor, the Koyot 6 brings a redesigned planform with refined sweep for improved roll stability, lighter brake pressure for less fatiguing thermalling, and a more solid leading edge that resists folds in turbulence. The sail uses Niviuk's standard Skytex cloth blend for the right balance of durability and packability.
For schools, instructors will appreciate the easy launch behavior and the consistent collapse recovery. For new pilots, the predictable feedback through the brakes makes it straightforward to feel what the wing is doing and react appropriately. The Koyot 6 is certified EN-A across all sizes.
The Pilot
The Koyot 6 is for pilots in training and pilots in their first 50 hours after certification. Schools also use it as their primary fleet wing.
